It is also the author hope that the conversations between the creative talents, and in depth analysis presented in the essays by video documentary will highlight the key topics and paradigms. Subsequently The Spirit of Batam visual creations, which contribute to the lively discussion about visual creative culture in Batam today, that highlights the culture and city branding.

Our concept for 8tv channel ident is more for teenagers. We use weird character design to emphasize 8tv channel tagline “We’re different”. In this channel ident, we create 3 characters that are the 3 main races in Malaysia which are Malay, Chinese and Indian. The main 3 characters are symbolizing rocket to show energetic of the teenager. We exaggerate the other element or characters in the ident to weird things to show that the imagination of the teenager and to emphasize the 8tv tagline. The environment that we show the most is sky. It is because that to show that teenager wanted freedom, do things gone wild and unlimited. Besides that, we use vector art style and some 3D character for the ident because nowadays teenager they love to watch things like graffiti art and 3D video. The colors that we use in the ident are more to colorful and funky to bring out the colorful life of teenager.

it's always better to have a clear when doing a project, and our goal tp give awarness among the younger generation is through organizing a campaign such as this one, " Know Your Kidney" Campaign with the slogan " Love it and Care for it". Target audience will be able to gather together during the campaign and receive the awarness more effectively by being there and absorb the knowladge on the spot. Besides, the promotional items that we proposed reach our target audience easly. The Posters will be put on different busy streets while the event brochures would be distributed to selected stores and malls, and we are sure the design appeal of these promotional items will leave a big impact on the target audience. The fund raising promotional items are also a plus in our proposal, as both t-shrits and bags do not just act as a fund raising item, it also makes the buyer to promote the awarness of kidney failure to his or her surroundings.

Sebuah ide yang diterjemahkan dalam pergelaran acara BATAM CYBER 2010.
